Tiny Home on Waterfront | Bay Views | Deck | Pool

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the peaceful waterfront view. Positive: Location is excellent and the place is clean. Scenery is breathtaking. Negative: A bit tiny. But doesn’t bother us too much.

Tiny home was enjoyable but little things added up making the stay frustrating. Main door stuck and could not get in with code, had to contact host to get a key. Neighbors say the door has been an issue for others also. Upon arrival air conditioning was set to 50, so very chilly until we adjusted temp. Man knocked on our full glass door at 9am first morning of our stay (waking my daughter and husband) saying he was part of association and I would need to move car (4 min walk away) or it would be blocked in for 6 hours for road work. Host stated did not know exact dates of work, association said email had been sent to host. Main toilet tank does not refill consistently after flushing. In my 2 day stay (family of 4) we had to open the tank about 10 times to move the float. Laundry pricing and picture in host’s “guidebook” is out of date, incorrect price. Due to this I did not get enough quarters so had wet clothes. Location of the kayaks we could use were not marked well or the equipment shown in the “guidebook” did not match what was in designated area. Host was responsive and home was enjoyable, but the little things added up to make our last two days of our trip frustrating. Host was not proactive telling us when we could again park by the rental home, I had to reach out that night to verify we could park by the home to load luggage. Checked out next morning at 8:45, workers had half the driveway blocked, had to go around dump truck on gravel mounds to exit.

Una esperienza da fare Positive: Casa molto caratteristica all’inizio delle Key Island, piccola ma funzionale e confortevole, ottimi spazi esterni e pontile. Molto tempestiva ed efficace la comunicazione con l’host. Negative: La casa è su una isoletta dove non ci sono negozi o ristoranti, sarebbero utili informazioni all’interno della casa su dove andare a mangiare (es. c’è Gilbert’s l isoletta dopo a Jewfish a 5 minuti di macchina) o dove comprare generi alimentari.

Caseta al paradís Positive: Caseta davant de l'aigua en una zona molt tranquil·la amb barrera d'accés on només hi poden accedir els veïns. La casa tot i ser petita compta amb tots els serveis i l'exterior és de somni: caiacs i pàdel surf gratuits, barbacoa weber amb gas inclòs, terrassa amb sortida directa a l'aigua,..i la millor posta de sol de la nostra vida! Negative: Vigileu amb els mosquits, cal portar repelent

Fun to experience a tiny home. Positive: It was in a very fun unique location with a view of the water. It was nice to be able to use the pool so easily. We liked that there were kayaks ready for use although we ran out of time to use them. The neighbors were friendly and it was a quiet area. The property was very pretty and great for entertaining outside. Negative: The inability to stand up upstairs was a reasonable inconvenience for the cute tiny home, so it was fine for our situation but I wouldn’t expect that adult couples would like it for too many nights. It was a fun experience and served us well for the 2 nights we enjoyed the area.
